Born and raised in Canada, Jason is French Canadian (that’s why “Marc” has a C!) and is now based in Bali, Indonesia. Before relocating there, he lived in Malaysia while working at Mindvalley, one of the world’s leading personal growth companies, where he spent seven years helping launch million-dollar programs, manage PR for New York Times best-selling authors, and produce large-scale transformational events around the world, such as A-Fest and Mindvalley University.

A TEDx speaker who has shared stages with industry giants like Gary Vaynerchuk, Jason Silva, Vishen Lakhiani, and Lisa Nichols, Jason brings authenticity, humor, and heart to every audience.

Whether he’s speaking to corporate teams, entrepreneurs, or lightworkers, he helps people reconnect with the joy of contribution and the belief that business, when done with love, can transform lives.

THE ROOTS OF SELLING WITH LOVE

Jason’s earliest experiences with sales started when he was just a kid, going door to door selling chocolate-covered almonds for charity. One of his neighbors’ daughters even became his first girlfriend. So, technically, his first experience of sales really did come with love.

As a teenager working in his father’s swimming pool business, Jason saw both the light and the shadow of sales. There was one salesman everyone disliked, arrogant, manipulative, driven purely by commission, yet his numbers were unmatched. It was Jason’s first real exposure to the paradox of persuasion: how someone could be effective while being completely out of integrity.

That contrast stayed with him. It taught him that influence alone isn’t enough — it has to be guided by empathy, respect, and responsibility. A few years later, his experience in the real estate world also put those lessons to the test.

At twenty-one, Jason was featured in a national TV infomercial in Canada, promoting a real estate mentorship program he truly believed in, until he discovered it was all a scam.

He and his university friends had pooled $20,000 to join the program, encouraged by a charismatic “mentor” who promised quick riches and easy deals. They were filmed giving glowing testimonials for a commercial, unaware that the promises were false and the funding was never real. When the truth surfaced (shady lawyers, nonexistent financing, and broken promises) the show was already airing. Jason’s smiling face was on television, selling a dream that had just cost him and his loved ones tens of thousands of dollars.

“It was devastating… I’d been scammed, and worse — I’d unknowingly helped scam others.”

The shame and responsibility of that experience could have made him turn away from sales forever.

Instead, it became the foundation of everything he teaches today.

A Global Career

Rooted in Purpose

During his seven years at Mindvalley, Jason helped shape programs that reached millions worldwide, working closely with top authors and thought leaders.

It was there that he first gave his now-famous talk on “Selling with Love,” which became the foundation for his book and his life’s work.

Watch Now: Why Selling Is The Greatest
Expression of Love

Jason believes that when we sell with love — instead of fear, scarcity, or manipulation — we don’t just grow our business; we elevate everyone it touches.

He teaches that love can be expressed through every aspect of business:

  • Selling with empathy and service.

  • Marketing with honesty and intention.

  • Leading with compassion and clarity.

  • Building companies that care about people and the planet.

Today, as CEO at SOMA Breath, he continues that mission on a global scale — helping people reconnect with their breath, their purpose, and their full potential through conscious business and holistic practices.

His message is simple but powerful:

“When you earn with integrity, you expand your impact, turning sales into service and business into a vehicle for positive change.”

Off the Mic

Outside of work, Jason is a coffee enthusiast who loves running and the laid-back pace of island life in Bali with his wife Anastasia.

He’s also a dedicated practitioner of breathwork and mindfulness — practices that keep him grounded as he continues to explore how business and consciousness can grow hand in hand.

As an identified gamer, he also enjoys studying the gaming industry when it comes to leadership and product development.
